One church for Northern Germany
ICF is a non-denominational free church based on biblical principles, born from the dream of making church dynamic, relatable, and contemporary for people once again. We celebrate our faith in God together, integrate it into everyday life, and live out friendly relationships.
ICF Hamburg is a multi-site church, meaning a church with multiple locations and micro-churches. We are currently working on our vision to plant another ICF in Lübeck. But we also want to plant churches in other cities across Northern Germany.
ICF Hamburg
ICF Hamburg was founded in Hamburg in 2017. The first services took place at the Schanzenkino. In 2018, ICF then moved into what was then the Stage Club. At the end of 2019, it moved again to the Emporio, where Celebrations still take place today. ICF Hamburg’s vision is to build a church for Northern Germany that inspires people for Jesus and where people can experience God. Here you’ll find more information about our church’s vision.
ICF Startup Lübeck
We are a church with multiple locations. For more than 2 years now, we’ve had the privilege of building ICF Startup Lübeck. We meet every week at the Media Docks Lübeck to celebrate Celebration together. Modern worship, an inspiring sermon, and space to encounter God await you. Afterwards, there’s the opportunity to grab a bite to eat and connect at a hangout.
Micro Churches
Our vision is to reach not just Hamburg, but all of Northern Germany. To do this, we want to plant micro churches – small satellite churches that belong to ICF Hamburg and also offer local activities. We stay connected by having them follow our Celebrations online and take part in digital offerings. Feel free to visit our micro churches in Wankendorf, Flensburg, Faßberg, Cuxhaven, or Hannover. If there isn’t one near you, feel free to reach out and maybe even start your own micro church.
Online Community
Wherever you are, you can be part of ICF Hamburg through our online community – not just at Celebration, but also in small groups or teams. We want to live out friendships online, pray together, experience the livestream, and share about everyday life. The online community is for everyone who considers themselves part of ICF Hamburg but can’t be there in person. Everyone is warmly welcome – join in and become part of our Telegram channel via the “Join” button.
And what comes next?
While we don’t yet have concrete plans for further ICF church plants, our dream is to reach all of Northern Germany with the gospel of Jesus and to plant new ICF churches. If this is also your dream and you’re located in one of the following cities, click below.
