INTERNSHIP (FSJ)
A training ground for young people who want to discover their calling and take on responsibility – practical, spiritually grounded, and life-changing. At the same time, they provide hands-on support in the everyday life of our church. REACH BEYOND 2026 makes it possible to equip tomorrow’s leaders with time, mentoring, and resources.
SUNDAY NIGHT
Grateful for fall 2025: our third weekly service, where the younger generation takes on responsibility. Through target-group-oriented technical improvements, we’re deliberately investing to make this space even more appealing for the next generation.
ONLINE MISSION & PODCAST STUDIO

Church Online is not a project for us, but a calling. Since ICF Hamburg’s beginnings, we’ve seen how God uses our church especially in the digital space to reach people with Jesus. What begins online repeatedly turns into real community, faith, and church in person. Numerous people have ultimately become part of our church through their first contact with our Online Church and now attend one of our locations or micro churches.
With REACH BEYOND 2026, we’re continuing to expand Church Online to give people an even better, more welcoming, and connecting online experience. By setting up a podcast studio and improving the online experience, we want to make God’s Word accessible to even more people.
CHURCH PLANTING
Planting churches is in our DNA. As ICF Hamburg, we grew out of generosity – sent from Zurich to reach people and build community. Three years ago, we joyfully planted our Lübeck location and have seen how God is working there. We invest in new locations so people can experience church in a new way and get to know Jesus – locally, relevantly, and sustainably. REACH BEYOND 2026 helps us strengthen existing plants and prepare strategically for further church plantings. Your support is invaluable in this. A growing church needs not only vision and passion, but also a permanent place for community, worship services, and activities throughout the week. We believe it’s God’s plan for us to find a lasting home where we, as a church, can come together and grow. THE ARK
In Hamburg, one in five children lives in poverty, facing insecurity, lack of opportunity, and social exclusion every day. The Ark Hamburg offers needy children and young people ongoing support, encouragement, and perspective at three locations over the years. Here they receive loving care, regular meals, clothing, and support for developing their talents. Every child deserves a carefree childhood and real opportunities for the future. In 2026, even more children should receive this support – together we can help make sure no child in Hamburg is left behind!
JESUS CENTER
In the heart of Hamburg’s vibrant Schanzenviertel, the Jesus Center has been an important point of contact for people in need for over 50 years. Whether children, teenagers, families, or seniors – everyone finds individual support and community here. At Café Augenblicke, there are warm meals, clothing, washing facilities, and even a free hairdresser. Children benefit from afternoon programs and educational support, while families receive help with everyday life. This valuable work is only possible through donations – every contribution brings hope and provides real, practical help.
MISSION FREEDOM
Mission Freedom has been fighting against human trafficking and forced prostitution since 2011, bringing hope to Hamburg’s hotspots. Over 90% of prostitutes in Germany are not there voluntarily and experience violence and trauma daily. The organization, led by Gaby Wentland, carries out awareness work and provides concrete help through street outreach, networking, and safe houses. Women who have little chance of escaping on their own receive new prospects for the future and professional support here. With your financial contribution, you can help give these women freedom and courage to live. Through your financial contribution, women can be brought into freedom.
OPEN DOORS
Millions of Christians worldwide suffer persecution, discrimination, and violence because of their faith. Open Doors supports these courageous people, offering them hope and advocating for their freedom and safety. Through donations and prayer, you help strengthen and encourage persecuted Christians. Open Doors provides secret training, practical assistance, and distributes Bibles and Christian literature in at-risk regions. Your support enables Christians to live out their faith despite great risks.
ICF CAMBODIA
In Cambodia, many children and families live in extreme poverty without access to education and medical care. ICF Cambodia is committed to giving these people a better future through programs in education, healthcare, vocational training, and community development. Children receive schooling, young adults receive vocational training, and entire communities benefit from sustainable projects. This life-changing work is only possible with support. Every donation helps bring hope and opportunity to more children and families.

TRAINING PASTORS & KEY LEADERS
Everything stands or falls with healthy leadership. Without well-trained pastors and leaders, strong, healthy churches cannot emerge – and without strong local churches, there is no hope for this world.
„That’s why we invest specifically in leaders who combine calling, character, and competence. Through the Pastors & Key Leaders Training, they are equipped to lead holistically, develop people, and build God’s kingdom.“
Last year, we were able to equip over 100 pastors and key leaders from more than 20 ICF churches. Over 200 additional aspiring leaders attended the ICF Experience, our bootcamp for key people in our ICFs.
With your generosity, we continue to develop these trainings, translate them into new languages, and make them accessible to even more people – so that leaders can grow everywhere, leaders who inspire hope, take on responsibility, and change lives.

DIGITAL INNOVATION
Most people discover ICF digitally today – long before they attend a Celebration. That’s why our online presence often determines whether a first click turns into real belonging. Your support for Digital Innovations helps with exactly that: people find a home more easily, and local churches become more visible and stronger.
Our digital reach is already remarkable: over 2.5 million website visitors per year and more than 10,000 monthly page views on our resource platform “EQUIP.” But we want to keep innovating.
In 2026, we’re launching the new ICF website and continuously developing our digital platforms further – including an expanded resource platform and a learning management system that supports and equips churches with targeted training.
„What excites me about our resource platform EQUIP: today, leaders have to navigate, decide, and carry more than ever before – and that’s exactly where we don’t leave them alone. EQUIP gives them ideas and tools that make an immediate impact in the church. Every month, over a thousand leaders access it to serve people, develop teams, and shape a healthy church.
