Welcome to
ICF Zurich
ICF Zurich is a Christian church based on the Bible – authentic, relevant and passionate about life with Jesus.
Welcome Home!
It’s great to have you here.
Whether you stumbled upon us by chance, were invited, or have been thinking about church for a while – we’re so glad you’re here.
ICF stands for International Christian Fellowship.
We dream of a new kind of a church. Creative. Relevant. Sometimes a little crazy.
A church where people can encounter God personally.
A church where real friendships are formed.
A church where you can discover and use your gifts.
We believe: Church is not there for itself.
Church is there for people.
And maybe this is your place too.
Welcome, it’s great to have you here.

Our mission
As a church, it is our passion for people to become more like Jesus Christ, live fearlessly and have a positive influence on their world.
Our values
Our Story
In 1996, Leo and Susanna Bigger founded ICF Zurich (International Christian Fellowship).
With a simple vision:
Building church that connects people with Jesus – authentic, relevant and full of life.
30 years of ICF Zurich, told through the locations that have carried hope, shaped faith, shown courage and built church.
What started with a small group is now a worldwide movement with churches in many countries. But our heart has remained the same: people should encounter God personally.
1996
ICF Zurich is founded by Leo and Susanna Bigger – with the vision to rethink church and connect people with Jesus. At Hotel Limmat, a time full of new beginnings, searching and bold ideas begins.
1997
The Celebrations move to the Alte Börse at Paradeplatz – growth becomes visible. Church becomes loud, lively and full of movement. Many young people join and ICF Zurich gains momentum.
2002
Move to the Maag Event Halls with over 1,900 seats – another big step. The old Maag Hall is renovated with many volunteers and feels like home for many.
2008
With Rapperswil and Winterthur, the first additional locations are established – ICF becomes a church with multiple locations. The vision continues to grow and reaches people beyond Zurich.
2010
New churches emerge throughout Europe and beyond – ICF becomes an international movement. A local vision becomes a network of churches that want to connect people with Jesus in a contemporary way.
2012
The Güterbahnhof becomes a place full of hope, energy and collective effort. With around 200 volunteers, new spaces, new possibilities and another milestone for ICF Zurich are created in a short time.
2014
Maag Event Hall, Music Hall, Yonex, Friedenskirche and Sihlcity – ICF Zurich is on the move in many places during these years. Setting up, taking down, changing, starting fresh: Church stays in motion.
2017
ICF Zurich moves to THE HALL in Dübendorf – finally a permanent home after many years on the move. A place with space, good children’s rooms, parking and room to breathe.
2020
With Corona, church has to be rethought from one moment to the next. Livestream, Micro Churches and online events make church accessible worldwide – new forms of community emerge.
2026
ICF Zurich celebrates 30 years of a new kind of a church. We look back with gratitude at places, people and stories – and believe that God still has much in store.
On the 30 Years ICF Zurich page, you’ll find the whole story as a video series – told through the locations that have shaped ICF Zurich.
