Hotel Limmat | 1996
One of ICF’s first phases began at Hotel Limmat.
A time full of new beginnings, searching, and bold ideas. This is where the desire was born to rethink church and authentically reach people today. A lot was still taking shape – and that was exactly the strength of those early days.

Alte Börse | 1997
The Alte Börse was loud, vibrant, and full of movement.
Things were constantly being set up and taken down here, with smells from the night before at El Cubanito, the scent of beer, and a whole lot of improvisation. Many young people joined, the church grew, and really gained momentum.

Old Maag | 2003
The old Maag hall felt like a real home. The Celebration Hall was converted by many volunteers themselves – with sweat, ideas, and a whole lot of heart.
The church kept growing here: kids’ rooms, the first musicals, and a place full of life and vision. And yet the realisation remained: no place lasts forever – church is more than a building.

Freight station | 2012
The freight station was pure hope, energy, and a shared effort.
With around 200 volunteers, people built, cooked, and created here in just two months – all with full commitment. Kids’ rooms were created, new possibilities opened up, and for the first time there were even enough parking spaces.

Maag Event Hall & Yonex | 2014
Back in the Maag Event Hall and also at Yonex – familiar and yet completely new at the same time.
No fixed home anymore, but a rental solution full of uncertainty, contracts, and constant renegotiation. Every Sunday: setting up, taking down, rolling flight cases through the underground car park, storing everything again – and still, many people came.

Sihlcity | 2015
Sihlcity cinema – popcorn box in hand.
An involuntary transition phase because Maag was being renovated and we suddenly had to move out completely. Just in time, we ended up in the cinema – a place that felt more like a temporary setup than a home. Five Celebrations, kids’ areas between cinema seats, lots of improvisation and even more perseverance.

Event Hall, Music Hall, Friedenskirche | 2015
Maag Event & Music Hall, Yonex & Friedenskirche – a life between locations.
After the renovation, back to Maag, but really everything was still on the move: setting up, taking down, switching, starting again. At the same time, the Friedenskirche was freezing cold in winter and hot in summer. So much gratitude, so much movement, and still: church goes on.

The Hall | 2017
THE HALL – Coming Home.
After years of changes, temporary solutions, and constant movement, a new place finally came. Moving in was intense – expensive, challenging, and after this long journey also pretty exhausting for many. And yet it felt like coming home: space, great kids’ rooms, parking spaces, and room to breathe.
