General Questions

ICF Zurich is independent of the state and is funded exclusively through voluntary donations.

There are no church taxes, no government support, and no mandatory membership fees. Church is sustained by people who consciously choose to support it financially.

As a church, it is our passion for people to become more like Jesus Christ, live fearlessly and have a positive influence on their world.

With your donation, you become part of this vision. You make possible Celebrations, pastoral care, children’s and youth ministry, marriage and family programs, creative productions, as well as local and global projects.

Giving is more than a transaction—it’s a spiritual practice and an expression of trust and gratitude toward God.

ICF Zurich is an association with religious purposes and a nationally recognized faith community.

Donations are generally not tax-deductible in Switzerland.

Questions About Giving

The tithe is a biblical principle in which the first 10% of income is entrusted to God.

We understand generosity as a journey. What matters is not pressure, but trust.

Giving is a personal decision between you and God.

Perhaps your next step is a small regular amount. Perhaps you want to intentionally live the tithe. What matters is the attitude of the heart.

No. Giving is voluntary. There are no mandatory fees.

Technical & Practical Questions

Yes. All payments are encrypted and processed through verified payment providers.

We offer various payment methods, including credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, TWINT, as well as cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

A one-time donation is processed only once.

A recurring donation runs automatically at a set interval, for example weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and allows us better planning.

For regular giving, we especially recommend a standing order via bank transfer.

Online donations incur small fees from payment providers, approximately 2%.

If you select this option, you cover these costs so that your donation arrives at ICF in full.

At the beginning of the new year, you’ll receive an overview of your donations from the previous year, provided you’ve given your personal details.

Special Forms of Giving

Yes. ICF was one of the first churches worldwide to enable crypto donations.

You can support us with Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Yes. Through inheritances or bequests, you can continue building God’s kingdom beyond your lifetime.
