In this sermon Leo Bigger highlights Paul’s warning: never take off the armor of God (Ephesians 6:14–18). Main idea — when you follow Jesus you gain forgiveness, identity, and gifts, but also spiritual opposition; the armor (especially the breastplate of righteousness) protects your heart and identity in Christ (Colossians 2:14; Romans 8:1–2).
Practical takeaway — put on the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and use the sword of the Spirit (God’s Word). Pray in the Spirit daily, proclaim God’s truths, refuse shame and accusation, and let the Holy Spirit change you from the inside out.
Call to reflection/action — examine where you hide behind a “fig leaf,” accept God’s forgiveness, and intentionally put on the armor now so attacks will bounce off (Ephesians 6).
