A new church experience!

We warmly welcome you to a Celebration of ICF Munich or one of the various ICF Locations of our ICF family. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to answer them by email or in person before or after the Celebration on Sunday.

What is particularly important to us is that people are not there for the church, but the church, including the ICF Church, is there for the people.

Welcome, it’s great to have you here!

Our mission

As a church, it is our passion that people become more like Jesus Christ, live fearlessly and change their environment for the better.

Our values

Our history

20 years ICF Munich

On 16 March 2025, over 3,000 visitors celebrated the 20th anniversary of ICF Munich with two celebrations.
What began with four people has grown into a church with over 4,000 worshippers per Sunday – supported by around 1,500 volunteer leaders and around 90 full-time and part-time employees throughout the metropolitan region.
Independent locations in Augsburg, Freising, Passau and Starnberg as well as strong online channels now shape the image of this growing church.

This vision brought a new kind of church to Munich, a New kind of a church that appeals to and inspires the younger generation in particular. Today, ICF Munich is a spiritual home for people of all generations.

Code of honor

“That is why we too – like runners in a race – want to run towards the finish line with all our endurance. Let us lay aside everything that hinders us from running, let us separate ourselves from the sin that so easily captivates us, and let us turn our gaze to Jesus, the pioneer of faith, who has gone ahead of us to the finish line.”

The Bible – Hebrews 12:1-2 (New Testament)

As employees and central leaders at ICF Munich, it is our deep desire to complete the course of faith “victoriously” (cf. 1 Corinthians 9:24ff). We are determined to live according to biblical moral standards. After numerous conversations about lifestyle as leaders in the church and inspired by the “Modesto Manifesto” by Billy Graham and his friends, we agree on a set of voluntary principles: The “Code of Honor for ICF Munich Staff”.

We are committed to placing faith in Jesus Christ and his word as the priority and basis for our words and actions.
Our published figures and statistics are truthful. We have commissioned and appointed an independent, external and non-discretionary Clearing Office (ombudsman). Any person from the church and its environment has the opportunity to report conflicts with leadership, suspicions of abuse of power or observations of unhealthy behavior. Information and links: www.icf.church/clearing-stelle.

We maintain a healthy and addiction-free lifestyle. We actively and responsibly counteract sexual sin.
As an organization, we take preventative measures against sexual abuse and sexual boundary violations. Particular attention is paid to the protection of minors. Important elements of our protection concept include a sensitized application process, staff training and a code of conduct for employees. To this end, we worked together with an expert from the GJW Bavaria (www.gjw-bayern.de). Every person in our church has the right and the duty to contact the national and independent specialist agency “Weißer Ring” (www.weisser-ring.de/) in the event of any form of violence.
We pay attention to the physical, mental and spiritual health of our employees and volunteers. We live by the principle of the Sabbath and promote a life of rest. We offer individual models of cooperation that are geared to the different phases of life.

We submit to and commit ourselves to the mission statement of ICF Zurich. We use the power and authority entrusted to us responsibly and actively work against the abuse of power. Leo and Susanna Bigger lead the organization as Senior Pastors and thus also the Core Team as its leadership team.

Every opinion counts in the Core Team. We wrestle over decisions until everyone can support them and no one has any serious reservations. Strategic and operational responsibility is assigned to the respective divisions, subsidiaries and locations in the form of self-organized teams. Authority in the legal branches of the organization is divided between two authorized signatories.

The ICF Munich Church is a registered non-profit organization. It is financed by voluntary donations.
A salary model independent of commission applies to all employees. It is based on comparable Organizations and industries and reflects the values of the ICF. All proceeds from sales of all ICF media products such as books, music and apps go to the organization. The same applies to fees from external engagements of our pastors and employees.
We provide insight into our finances on request. We comply with legal requirements with conviction and voluntarily take confidence-building measures, such as auditing the accounts of our organization(s) and publishing an annual report. Financial obligations that go beyond day-to-day operations and are of a certain amount are always subject to the principle of dual control.

May God help us to live faithfully, passionately and in an exemplary manner.

Clearing Office

“This church is a family characterized by unconditional love, unity, and servant leadership.”

Our pursuit of this ideal from our vision can be undermined by conflict and abuse of power. That is why we want to identify and address unhealthy developments at an early stage. For this reason, we at ICF have decided to commission and appoint an independent, external, and autonomous Clearing Office (ombudsman office).
