Church is not a building, but a family – and everyone has a place in this family.

God has given you unique gifts and we want you to discover them, use them and grow in them. We will provide you with the right tools so that you can develop and find your place.

BASIC VOLUNTEER TRAINING

You have no idea where to start? Then you’ve come to the right place.
In the Basic Volunteer Training, we show you how you can help shape our church – whether behind the camera, in the Welcome Team, with Kids, Youth, in Technology, and much more.
You will also learn how volunteering at ICF Church works in practice, how to find the right team for you and what values we live by in our teams.

PRAYER TEAM


Do you want to experience how your prayer makes a difference and how God works miracles through you? Do you long to hear God speak more and want to practice this practically? Then join our prayer team alongside experienced prayer leaders. On one or more dates – both are possible. We look forward to seeing you!

SUNDAY NIGHT – COMMENTED SESSION

Do you want to recognize God’s common thread through the Celebration and understand why our services are the way they are? In our commented session, we give an insight behind the scenes of a Sunday Night Celebration: How do we shape culture? How do we make space for God’s work? How do we pass the ball so that spiritual momentum can develop and be sustained? Be part of it!

HOSPITALITY – CONVEYING APPRECIATION WITH CATERING

You will experience how we provide catering for all employees on Sunday mornings and get hands-on. It’s not just about the food itself, but about how “love that goes through the stomach” and how we thereby create a basis of appreciation for the church services.

HOSPITALITY – BUILDING A HOME

You will experience how the foyer of the Neuraum is transformed into a feel-good place and how decorative elements are used. You will be part of the welcome team and learn how to recognize and appreciate individuals in the crowd and thus create a homely atmosphere.

OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF MAN – SHARING MY FAITH ON SUNDAY

Every Sunday, people enter our rooms who do not yet have a living relationship with Jesus and have little or no connection with the church.
This training helps you to understand the crucial role you play in these moments. You will learn how a simple question can turn into a genuine encounter. How disorientation can turn into trust – and how you can help people to be changed by Jesus: on Sunday and beyond.
You will learn how to overcome your own obstacles and share your faith fearlessly and joyfully in your own individual way.

LOGISTICS & TECH – MAKING SUNDAYS HAPPEN

Have you ever wondered who this Lotte is that people keep talking about? It’s Logistik&Technik – Lotte for short, and the second t in the middle stands for the cross at the center. We don’t just set up the stage and chairs, provide the sound, lighting and video, but we deliberately place Jesus at the center of the set-up, dismantling and celebrations. We love to use our practical gifts to create a space on site and online where people encounter God.
There is a workshop where we talk about the culture, structure and heart of our teams and three Sundays where you can get a taste of our Sunday teams and experience a shift in a Lotte team and get hands-on. We look forward to getting to know you.
