In previous years, demand was high. Therefore, we expect high attendance again in 2026 and recommend that you make a seat reservation in advance. With a reservation, you secure a seat for your desired performance. On-site, seating is open. You can also come without a reservation, but then you are not guaranteed a seat. In case of high demand, it may happen that we cannot let any more visitors into the performance. How much does a seat reservation cost? Adults: €10.00 Children and teenagers up to and including 18 years: €5.00 The reservation fees are used as a contribution to finance the Christmas Experience and help cover the costs of the event. By making a reservation, you support the realization of this special event. Please note: It is not possible to cancel your seat reservation. ### Important to Know Your reserved seat will be held for you until 15 minutes before the start of the performance. Please arrive on time and redeem your reservation at the entrance. Unredeemed reservations expire 15 minutes before the start of the performance. Afterwards, the seats will be released for other visitors. Every person who wants a guaranteed seat needs their own seat reservation – this also applies to children. The reservation is optional. You can also visit the Christmas Experience without a prior reservation, provided seats are still available. You can also come spontaneously to the Christmas Experience. Please note, however, that without a reservation, you are not guaranteed a seat. In case of high demand, seats may no longer be available. Therefore, we recommend that you reserve in advance. ### How much does the seat reservation cost and what is the money used for? ** ** The reservation costs €10 for adults and €5 for children and teenagers up to and including 18 years of age. The amount helps cover the costs of the Christmas Experience and thus supports the realization of the event. ### Can I cancel my reservation? ** ** No, it is not possible to cancel your seat reservation. Therefore, please check before booking whether the chosen date works for you. ### How long is my reserved seat guaranteed? ** ** Your seat will be held for you until 15 minutes before the start of your performance. Please redeem your reservation in good time at the entrance. After that, the reservation expires and the seat can be given to someone else. ### Can I choose my own seat? ** ** Yes! We have open seating. With your reservation, you secure a seat, but you can decide for yourself where you would like to sit on-site. If you want to sit together with family or friends, we recommend arriving early. ### Do children need their own seat reservation? ** ** Yes. Every person who wants a guaranteed seat needs their own reservation. This also applies to children. ### What should I do if I cannot afford the reservation fee? ** ** It is important to us that as many people as possible can experience the Christmas Experience. We’d love to help you out. ### What is the Family Edition? ** ** The Family Edition is a performance specially designed for families. The volume is adjusted and the supporting program is also geared towards families. The family performances take place on Saturday at 4:30 PM and on Sunday at 3:00 PM. ### What age is the Family Edition suitable for? ** ** The family performances are recommended for children aged 6 and up. Children from the age of 3 are also welcome to come into the hall. Please note the information for younger children and babies further below. ### Can babies and children under 3 years old come along? ** ** For infants and children under 3 years of age, we do not recommend visiting the hall due to the sensory stimuli and the sound levels. Instead, a baby lounge with a play area and live broadcast is provided. A parent must supervise their child there. Children under 3 years old can still be part of the show in the hall during the Family Edition, as long as they don’t become too restless. You can leave the hall at any time during the family performance if your child needs a break. ### Is there childcare during the Family Edition? ** ** **This information is still being clarified.** It has not yet been definitively decided whether there will be a supervised kids’ program for children aged 3 to 6. As soon as the decision is final, we’ll post an update here. ### Are children allowed to attend the regular performances? ** ** The regular performances are recommended for teens aged 14 and up. For younger children, we recommend the Family Edition on Saturday at 4:30 PM and on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Children under 3 are not allowed to attend the evening performances. Children between 3 and 13 may enter the hall as long as they don’t become too restless. Children up to and including age 6 must wear hearing protection during the regular performances. ### How do I get to the SHOWPALAST München? ** ** **Address:** SHOWPALAST München Hans-Jensen-Weg 3 80939 München **By public transport:** Take the U6 subway line to the Fröttmaning stop. From there, you can reach the SHOWPALAST. **By car:** Take the A9 motorway, exit Fröttmaning-Süd (AS 73). ### Is parking available on-site? ** ** Yes, parking spaces are available directly at the SHOWPALAST. These are paid and only available in limited numbers. We therefore recommend arriving by public transport. The parking lot is accessed via Maria-Goeppert-Mayer-Straße. ### Where can I book my seat reservation? ** ** Seat reservations are made through our ticketing system, Elvanto.
