Was Jesus really who he claimed to be?
There are many possible critical questions that can be asked about Christianity. But this question
determines whether Christianity is fake or real.
An example: Are you surprised that Jesus healed people or could walk on water? If he
was just a man, that’s all a big lie. But if he really was what he claimed, then
of course he must have been able to perform miracles – otherwise he wouldn’t be God(s son).
Here’s a trick to save you years of research: Deal with the one question of whether Jesus
really rose from the dead. If not, Christianity would be the biggest lie in the history of the world. If yes,
everything Jesus said on this earth 2,000 years ago would be true – e.g. how you can get to heaven
.

Child abuse, witch hunts, crusades – all in the name of God? Do you take a critical view?
Understandable, Jesus too! Perhaps you have also been personally hurt by the church or a
Christian? Christians have made immense mistakes in the past! And we
are still making them. The fact is: as long as there are people in a church, mistakes will be made there. As long as you and
I are in a church, mistakes will happen.
Our heart’s desire is: Give God, your Father in heaven, a chance, even if the (Christian)

God created us to live in community with him. A relationship only works,
when two people say yes to each other. For this reason, we have been given a free
will by him. With this free will, we can decide for his love or against it, for good but
also for bad (which we have often done in German history).
If God were to intervene in all our bad decisions, he would undermine the freedom he has given us
. That would make us nothing more than his puppets. The opposite of what he
always wanted! For this reason, God does not always prevent suffering, but probably much more often than
you are aware of in your life. BUT in all of this, God makes you an offer: “Let ME carry YOUR suffering
.”
You don’t have to carry burdens alone. I am by your side in a dark valley – if you want me to
!

Imagine that there is a God with whom you can have a relationship. Someone who loves you more than anything (John 3:16), who is a supernatural counselor because He knows you better than you know yourself (James 1:5) and who is the only thing that can truly give you deep fulfillment. Imagine that there is a possibility that your life is not over after death, but that the best is yet to come. This is part of the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says: “The wages of sin is death,” meaning that we are ALL actually guilty because of our mistakes. The consequence, death, means eternal separation from God (=hell). But because God doesn’t want this and loves us, he himself becomes human through Jesus Christ and dies the death on the cross that each one of us would have deserved.
The only condition is to believe in Jesus Christ and accept this gift. Your eternity is at stake, so we ask you with all our hearts: At least once in your life, consider whether Jesus was who he claimed to be. It will change your life on this earth and where you will spend eternity.
Truth is not dependent on whether you “need” it emotionally or practically.
